Jaylin Simpson, Ja'Varrius Johnson dressed out, warming up vs LSU
The bye-week for the Auburn Tigers has provided some time for the players to get some much-needed rest and rehabilitation for the remaining weeks of the 2023 season.
Despite the best efforts of Auburn’s training and medical staff there are still some significant absences that will be notice on Saturday against LSU.
Who will not be dressing out for the Auburn Tigers in Baton Rouge?
Offense:
Damari Alston: Sophomore running back. Is questionable after a shoulder injury but has been seen practicing with the team this week.
Ja'Varrius Johnson: Johnson is dressed out and is expected to play.
Defense:
Austin Keys: Junior linebacker. Will not be dressed out due to a thumb injury that required surgery earlier in the season.
Keionte Scott: Junior cornerback. Will not be dressed out due to an ankle injury that required surgery earlier in the season.
Mosiah Nasili-Kite: Senior defensive lineman. Will not be dressed out due to a torn labrum and will remain out for the rest of the season.
Jaylin Simpson: Simpson is dressed out and is expected to play.
