Portal update: How did former Auburn Tigers perform in week seven?
Seven weeks of the 2023 college football season have come and gone. With another week in the books, it is once again time to evaluate the performances of former Auburn Tigers from the past week.
Zach Calzada
Calzada went 27-42 for 300 yards and two touchdowns in Incarnate Word's 28-11 win over TAMC. He did throw three interceptions, but they did not prove to be overly costly.
Incarnate Word is 5-1 on the season. Calzada and the Cardinals will be looking to have another solid performance this week against the 0-6 McNeese Cowboys.
The game is set for 7 p.m. CT and can be found on ESPN+.
TJ Finley
Finley narrowly led Texas State to a victory over Louisiana-Monroe. He went 24-46 for 222 yards and one touchdown. He did throw an interception in the Bobcats' 21-20 win over the Warhawks.
Finley and Texas State have a bye this week.
Bo Nix
No. 8 Oregon fell 36-33 to No. 7 Washington, but Nix did everything in his power to lead the Ducks to a win.
Nix went 33-44 for 337 yards and two touchdowns.
Nix and Oregon will have a chance to bounce back this week against the 4-2 Washington State Cougars. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. CT and the game can be found on ABC.
