Auburn has offered former Michigan State defensive lineman Derrick Harmon
Derrick Harmon is a six-foot-five, 320-pound defensive lineman who played his first few seasons of college football in East Lansing, Michigan, for the Michigan State Spartans.
Harmon had 40 tackles this season, including 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble. In 2022, Harmon had two sacks, so in his career, he has 3.5.
The Detroit native entered the transfer portal this morning and quickly received an offer from Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers.
PFF loves Harmon as he received a season-long grade of 78, so he played good football for the Spartans.
His best game of the season was against Iowa at an 80.9, but he graded out well against Ohio State as well with a 73.7, so the big stage wasn't too big for Harmon.
Now, the hope will be to get him on campus so he will eventually choose to finish his college football career on the Plains.
Harmon has an SEC frame and would be a big get for Hugh Freeze and this coaching staff.
