LOOK: Tigers' legend Cam Newton makes appearance for Auburn vs Georgia

A college football legend is on the Plains this weekend.

Former Auburn quarterback and Heisman winner Cam Newton is in attendance for the Tigers' matchup vs the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs. Newton made an appearance with Auburn head basketball coach Bruce Pearl for the Auburn/Georgia game in 2021.

Newton is dressed out in all orange, and has a question for the Auburn family.

Georgia leads the all-time series against Auburn 63-56 in the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry. Georgia has won the last six games in the series. Auburn's last win against Georgia came in 2017 as a 40-17 victory in Jordan Hare Stadium.

The first-ever matchup in the series was in 1892. Auburn beat Georgia 10-0 in Atlanta, Georgia.
