Baylor Bears running back Richard Reese was named as a semifinalist for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award, the Maxwell Football Club announced on Thursday, Nov. 3.
Reese is one of 14 candidates for the annual award, which recognizes the most outstanding freshman player in college football and is named after former Alabama standout Shaun Alexander.
