CINCINNATI — One of Wes Miller's primary targets in the Class of 2023 just committed to Cincinnati. Taft (Ohio) guard Rayvon Griffith chose Cincinnati from a group of five schools, including Ohio State, UCLA, Kansas, and Alabama.

According to 247Sports Composite, Griffith is the 53rd-ranked player in the class and the 11th-ranked shooting guard. The offensive weapon is the seventh-highest rated UC commit in the 247Sports era, just above Jarron Cumberland in the 2016 class. Griffith is ESPN's 62nd-ranked player and the 16th-ranked shooting guard.

Griffith just led Taft to its second ever State Title this past season and is a standout talent on the AAU circuits. The 6-foot-7 all-around player is a marquee hometown hero that will lead UC's basketball program into the Big 12 to immediately begin his career.

Miller hit the pavement hard for Griffith right when he got the Bearcats job, and it paid off. Griffith committed a few months ahead of his originally scheduled date and can now help recruit players like five-star point guard Isaiah Collier to come join him in Clifton.
