CINCINNATI — Ahmad 'Sauce' Gardner is already one of the best coverage players in the NFL and one metric hammers that home.

The New York Jets rookie had the best man coverage yards allowed mark of any qualified NFL cornerback this season. The Defensive Rookie of the Year frontrunner allowed just 54 yards in man coverage across 18 games.

That boils down to an astounding 3.17 yards allowed per game.

He will likely run away with the ROTY award and could be a unanimous pick after leading the entire NFL with 20 pass breakups, while allowing just one touchdown back in Week 2 against the Browns.

The only touchdown Gardner's allowed in the NFL or college.
