Bryan Cook Picked in Second Round of 2022 NFL Draft by AFC Contender

Cook is the third Bearcat selected in the 2022 NFL Draft.

CINCINNATI — Bryan Cook is headed ot the Kansas City Chiefs. The safety went off the board with the 62nd pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

He is an immediate candiate to replace Tyrann Mathieu in the Kansas City secondary after posting 57 solo tackles, two interceptions, and nine pass breakups in 2021.

He was the thumper in this vaunted BlackCats defense and is ready to prove why the Chiefs took him in the backend of the second round. He is the highest-drafted Bearcats safety since 2000. Cook joins fellow former Bearcat Travis Kelce in Kansas City.
