CINCINNATI — Former UC linebacker Ivan Pace Jr. is still pacing among the 15 highest-graded NFL rookies this season by Pro Football Focus's grading.

Pace (74 overall grade) checked in at No. 13 among rookies through 10 weeks after playing his second-most snaps of the season for Minnesota against New Orleans (56 snaps, 62.5 grade).

"The undrafted rookie continues to take strides in coverage over recent weeks," Mason Cameron wrote. "This past week, he recorded a pair of stops in coverage, bringing his season total to six. More impressively, though, Pace possesses the highest pass-rush win rate among all rookie defenders (26.7%), more than seven percentage points higher than the next player."

Overall, he has 28 tackles and one sack this season.

Pace has been the best Bearcats NFL rookie in 2023 and he wasn't even drafted.
