CINCINNATI — The first day of Senior Bowl practices is in the books and Tre Tucker took centerstage among the Bearcats in attendance.
The wide receiver impressed former NFL general manager Rick Spielman.
"Tucker is a little slot receiver," Spielman wrote for The 33rd Team. "He’s undersized but has excellent speed and quickness. He might be the fastest receiver here; Cincinnati coaches clocked him under 4.3 last spring. In one-on-one drills during the National Team practice, he stood out as a receiver who could separate from the defensive backs in man coverage. He also looked natural catching punts on special teams. I’m really looking forward to seeing how he progresses throughout the week."

Ivan Pace Jr. and Josh Whyle got some shoutouts as well for their performances throughout the day.
This week of practices is huge for Day 3 draft projections like Tucker, Pace, and Whyle.
.@GoBearcatsFB LB Ivan Pace Jr. completely makes the RB whiff on this drill.

Cincinnati's Ivan Pace the fastest LB of the National Team today. Miami (OH) transfer to the Bearcats who once had six sacks against Akron. #SeniorBowl pic.twitter.com/LKAuumAYwc

One of the knocks on Cincinnati TE Josh Whyle was that he wasn’t a sufficient blocker. Having added some weight he certainly took care of business here. Even with a jump step Andre Carter couldn’t cope with him.#SeniorBowl #NFLDraft pic.twitter.com/10FnoB9Sua
