2024 Four-Star Tight End Dylan Mesman Places UC In Top-10 Schools
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats just cracked a four-star tight end's top-10 schools.
Dylan Mesman out of Saline (Michigan) is down to Cincinnati, Michigan State, Minnesota, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Maryland, Duke, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, and Auburn.
According to 247Sports, Mesman is the 309th-ranked player nationally and the 17th-ranked tight end. On3 has Mesman ranked 280th and 16th among tight ends. They also peg Michigan State as a 56.8% favorite to land the talented player.
Cincinnati offered him when he was still unranked last March. He's since ascended into a highly-sought after recruit.
The 6-foot-6, 232-pound Mesman is a dominant weapon in the Michigan football scene. He blocks soundly, shows sharp fundamental route-running, and has a nice mean streak for the position. His catch point leaves plenty of room for error, plus, he doesn't waste time getting upfield.
Mesman can line up inside, as a backfield piece, and outside. His versatility would be a fantastic addition to Scott Satterfield's offense.
Tight ends are going to continue getting featured under the new regime. The junior's skillset could fit anywhere.
