Watch: 100 Years of Night Games at Nippert Stadium
CINCINNATI — UC football has its first Nipp at Night game of the season on Saturday and the athletics media team put together a great video detailing the 100-year history of night games at Nippert Stadium.
Lights first got installed at the stadium back in 1921 (designed by UC co-op student Jack Silverman) and Cincinnati played the first CFB night game in the midwest on Sept. 29, 1923, against Kentucky Wesleyan.
