CINCINNATI — The Bearcats landed a commitment from three-star 2025 quarterback Zebulin Kinsey out of Toronto (Ohio) on Saturday.

According to 247Sports, Kinsey is the 47th-ranked quarterback nationally and the 37th-best player in Ohio. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound talent held two other offers from West Virginia and Oklahoma State.

Cincinnati offered in July of this year.

Kinsey missed most of his junior season due to injury but posted 482 passing yards and six touchdowns on 21-of-31 passing across 2.5 games. He also ran for 205 yards on 16 carries.

The big dual-threat talent is the exact mold of player Scott Satterfield wants running his offense. Kinsey can unleash a cannon on downfield throws and has a nice pocket presence and pressure awareness to extend plays with his legs.

In the open field, Kinsey is slippery he can accelerate pretty well for such a large frame and showed experience running similar pistol and shotgun concepts as UC. Kinsey could develop into a strong Cincinnati quarterback.

He's also a heady player at middle linebacker on the other side of the ball.

He's the second 2025 commit on the board for Cincinnati, alongside Kamaurri Smith.
