Wes Miller and the UC men's basketball team officially added a pair of new recruits to their 2022 class on Wednesday. The Bearcats signed forward Josh Reed and center Sage Tolentino. The two had previously committed over the past few months, and now they've fully signed to UC.

Both players slot into the Rivals 150, with Reed checking in at No. 122. He has rated as high as No. 89 on the list, and it's not hard to see why. The 6-foot-7, 210 pound-force out of Pace Academy in Atlanta is a 2-time Georgia state title winner. The forward logged 17 points per game during his junior campaign and put up 20 PPG this past AAU season for AC Georgia.

Reed is a three-star prospect on the ESPN 100 and ranked 50th overall at his position.

"I thought this summer, Josh may have been the most efficient offensive player on the circuit," Miller told gobearcats.com. "He is totally unselfish, seems to make the right play, and knows how to get fouled. He shoots it, puts his body on people, and is a versatile player who gets his hands on a lot of balls. He's also a terrific young man. He's played for terrific coaches at great programs and has won at a high level. I think he fits us in a lot of ways at UC."

Tolentino isn't traveling far From Hamilton, OH, to join the Bearcats, but he did make a big step in moving to the Buckeye state. The center started his high school career at Maryknoll HS in Hawaii.

The Hamilton High product is No. 144 on the Rivals 150 and is another entry in a line of stretch fives for Miller. The Bearcats head coach gravitates toward long player's who can defend the rim and hit triples. The 7-foot, 220-pound center has flashed that ability throughout his high school career.

"I'm excited about Sage," Miller said. "He's skilled, long, athletic, and has versatility at 7-foot-1 to guard multiple positions. He can step out and shoot the three, and he's our type of kid. He's fun-loving with a great personality, but I love that when he works, he's very serious about his game. I'm real excited to welcome him to our program."
