Clemson lands 4-star safety Ricardo Jones.

Dabo Swinney has made it a point to recruit the state of Georgia hard during his tenure at Clemson. From Trevor Lawrence to Myles Murphy, the Tigers have landed a ton of talent from the Peach State, and that continued on Tuesday as news broke that four-star safety Ricardo Jones out of Warner Robins, Georgia has committed to Clemson.
The 6-foot-3 safety made his commitment in the Warner Robins auditorium, picking the Tigers over Florida State. His commitment now gives the Tigers thirteen in the 2024 class, including six players out of the state of Georgia.

Jones intercepted 6 passes in 2022 as a junior and was named the 1-AAAAAA Region Offensive Player of the Year in basketball. He's ranked as the No. 12 safety in the Class of 2024 per 247Sports and joins fellow Georgian Noah Dixon as the only two safties currently in Clemson's class.
