Bevy of Elite Recruits Trending Towards Clemson after a Big Recruiting Weekend
Dabo Swinney and Clemson's recruiting style of offering late puts an added emphasis on nailing official visits with top prospects. It doesn't appear that will be a worry after this past weekend when the dam may have finally broken for the recruiting momentum many Tiger fans have been waiting for.

Sammy Brown, the top linebacker in the country, made the biggest splash today by committing and getting the snowball rolling but now that ball might be picking up steam and turning into an avalanche.
247Sports Crystal Ball system was lit up orange with predictions coming in for a number of big names after they visited this past weekend. Most notable was 5-star receiver Bryant Wesco who is ranked as the No. 9 player in the country by 247. Oklahoma has been viewed as the biggest competition for the Midlothian, Texas product but this is another 5-star that could be heading to Clemson.

Some other big offensive names are now trending toward Clemson. Wide receiver TJ Moore and 2025 running back prospect Gideon Davidson both now appear to be Clemson leans. Moore hails from Tampa, Florida where the Gators were thought to be the possible leader but that looks to have changed. Standing at 6-foot-3 and ranked as the No. 83 overall player by 247Sports Moore would make a dynamic duo with Wesco if both could be landed in the end. Davidson, although 2025 feels like a long way away, is a top 5 running back recruit across the board amongst the major sites so to get an early lead on a player of his caliber is certainly never a bad thing.
In addition to Sammy Brown, there may also be good defensive news coming in the secondary as well. Cornerback Corian Gipson out of Lancaster, Texas, is the No. 61 overall player in the 247Sports Composite for the 2024 class and Clemson is looking to go into the Lone Star State again and take a talented piece for their defensive backfield. Alabama and Texas are viewed as the other leaders in his recruitment currently.
Quite a weekend for Clemson. When it's all said and done it feels as if most who pay attention to this program will look back on the first weekend in June as the moment when the 2024 class really started to come together.
