Shedeur Sanders visits with New England Patriots scout during practice

Buffaloes QB expected to break several CU records this year and would be a good fit in Foxborough

Shedeur Sanders has built quite an impressive resume and is gathering NFL buzz. While his father says he'll be returning to Colorado next year, the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback continues to maintain relationships within the league.

New England Patriots scout J.T. Hill made a visit to Boulder this week and was at practice having a conversation with Sanders and Coach Prime. The moment between the trio was captured by Well Off Media. Shedeur always talks about going in "Brady Mode" and might be a good future fit for the franchise his mentor helped to build over the past two decades.

The Patriots will likely be in need of help under center with Mac Jones reportedly "falling out of favor" with team management in New England.

"One thing that's really infuriated people in the building is the decision-making," SI's Albert Breer said of Jones recently. "They've been sold the smart, efficient, game-managing quarterback, and they're not getting it. The decision-making hasn't been good."

It would be a complete night and day scenario between Jones and Sanders. CU's "Grown" QB is one of the best decision-making passers and rarely makes mistakes on the field. That could be why the Patriots are interested in taking a shot on Sanders. Not to mention, he comes with the blessing of Tom Brady, who has worked with 'SS2' since his days in high school.

Deion Sanders told Dan Patrick on Tuesday that both Shilo and Shedeur would enter the 2025 NFL Draft and spend another year with him at Colorado. Prime hosted Atlanta Falcons scout Rich Sanders (no relation) on campus earlier this year and said, "We're not coming back unless we bring the Sanders boys to Atlanta.

Sanders started his NFL career in Atlanta in 1989 and, by some accounts, helped build the city into what it is today. As for Shedeur, he'll be part of the next wave going into the league at some point. ESPN's Mel Kiper says he's the third-best NFL ready QB behind USC's Caleb Williams and UNC's Drake Maye.
