Cooper Flagg, the Duke basketball recruiting powerhouse's first perfect-rating prize since RJ Barrett and fellow Montverde Academy (Fla.) product in 2018, is a pure joy to watch.

In other words, the top-ranked prep in the 2024 recruiting arena is a long-limbed five-star talent ready-made for highly entertaining mixtapes.

The 6-foot-9, 200-pound phenom forward, a projected one-and-done talent and a potential top overall draft pick, has beyond-his-years skills and confidence.

That is on full display throughout the following recently released three-minute "Cooper Flagg Official Ballislife Mixtape Vol 1 - A Generational Talent":

He is a lifelong Blue Devil fan who reclassified from 2025 to 2024 in the summer and committed to Duke in late October, just days after returning from his official visit. The 16-year-old Flagg is part of a five-deep class, which includes three other five-star prospects and sits atop the national ranking.

Duke basketball's other four 2024 prizes are North Meck (N.C.) five-star forward Isaiah Evans, Wisconsin Lutheran five-star forward Kon Knueppel, and two Paul VI Catholic (Va.) standouts in four-star forward Darren Harris and five-star center Patrick Ngongba II.

Flagg was the fourth player in the cycle to pledge allegiance to Jon Scheyer and his staff, followed by Ngongba a week later.

Each signed his national letter of intent during this month's early signing period.
