Brayden Burries earned a Duke basketball offer in June and was on an unofficial visit with the Blue Devils in mid-September. Judging by the 6-foot-5, 200-pound shooting guard's recent chat with 247Sports' Travis Branham, it sounds like he enjoyed the trip to Durham.

"It was really good," Burries told Branham. "They showed me around campus...I like what [Duke has] got going on over there...I like how they practice, the weight room, everything, even to film.

"And I like how they treat people."

In the four weeks since his Duke visit, the Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Calif.) junior has jumped 11 spots to No. 22 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite.

A newly minted composite five-star prospect, per 247Sports, Burries is a polished, all-around perimeter prospect with dozens of offers. He hasn't named finalists but noted to Branham that he might wrap up his recruitment as early as the spring and "will drop a top 10 or a top five" whenever he decides on a timeframe.

And he's currently thinking about potential official visits this year. Perhaps Duke will get to host him again. He's also been to Arizona, UCLA, and Houston.

Branham asked Burries about possibly reclassifying to enter the college ranks next year.

"I don't think I will," he answered. "It's up to my dad, and I don't think he wants me to, so I think I will stay in 2025."

So, at least for now, it seems Brayden Burries remains firmly on a nine-deep 2025 Duke basketball offer sheet that has thus far yielded neither a commitment nor rejection.
