In late July, Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Calif.) junior combo guard Brayden Burries received an offer from the Duke basketball staff. Then, earlier this week, Recruits Zone reported that Blue Devil recruiters visited him at his school.

Now, per 247Sports' Travis Branham, the 6-foot-5, 185-pound versatile four-star has scheduled an unofficial visit to Durham to begin on Monday.

While Burries carries only a No. 33 composite ranking among his 2025 peers, 247Sports sees him on the cusp of adding a fifth star to his rating, recently bumping him up six spots to No. 11 overall on its ranking.

He boasts roughly two dozen offers and is among eight high school juniors, all undecided, on the Blue Devils' reported 2025 wishlist.

After watching Burries shine at the CP3 Rising Stars Camp in late August, On3's Jamie Shaw provided the following summary of his game:

"Brayden Burries does not get rushed. He calmly gets to his spots and makes plays. [He] played well on the ball, making great reads out of the pick-and-roll. He knocked down shots when open and showed range extending to 28 feet...There is a lot to like about the smooth nature of his game."

Burries' trip to Durham follows this weekend's visits from two other preps: Wisconsin Lutheran five-star small forward Kon Knueppel, a prime Duke basketball target who ranks No. 15 overall on the 247Sports 2024 Composite, and Highland (Va.) five-star small forward Nate Ament, No. 21 overall in the 2025 class.

Meanwhile, according to a recent post from national recruiting insider Andrew Slater, Reserve Academy (Ohio) four-star power forward Nikola Bundalo, initially reported to be at Duke this weekend for an unofficial visit, is now slated to arrive next weekend instead. He ranks No. 30 in the 2025 class and does not yet hold a Blue Devil offer.
