Final Member Of 2023 Class Enrolls At Florida State
Florida State made a flurry of roster updates earlier this week as newcomers arrive for the summer semester to begin their careers in Tallahassee. At the time of the additions on Monday, there was one name ostensibly missing - offensive lineman Chris Andre' Otto.

However, Otto posted on social media that he was on the way to Florida State to enroll that same day. It appears that his enrollment process is complete and he's hitting the ground running with the Seminoles. Otto was out assisting the team during the Big Man and 7-on-7 camp on Wednesday.
The Florida native is also officially appearing on FSU's roster. He's listed at 6-foot-5, 320 pounds, and will be wearing No. 65 in 2023. According to his bio, he was an all-county performer for Key West High School while playing on the offensive and defensive line.
Otto played both tackle positions and helped his high school average 34 points per game during his junior year. He also competed in wrestling, lacrosse, and track and field. Otto won the 285-pound weight class wrestling regional title as a junior and placed eighth in the 1A state championship. He placed third in the discus and fourth in the shot put at the 2021 district championships.
To say the least, Otto isn't your typical high school football prospect. He chose Florida State over multiple Ivy League offers and is an aspiring filmmaker. Otto has a lot of potential and is excited to get his college career underway with the Seminoles and head coach Mike Norvell.
"Always the best. I love talking to him, he's a great coach," Otto said to NoleGameday previously. "He kind of just talks about how he keeps FSU and how he's excited and wants to coach me. Honestly, really amazing the way he sees things."
Now that he's officially a member of the program, it appears that Florida State's roster is all but set ahead of the summer. The Seminoles have allocated at least 84 of their 85 scholarships after long snapper James Rosenberry announced that he was on scholarship last week.
It's also important to remember that the coaching staff doesn't like to disclose scholarship numbers so the exact statuses of running back CJ Campbell, running back Caziah Holmes, tight end Preston Daniel, and defensive end Dante Anderson are unknown.
If one of them has been elevated on scholarship, that means the Seminoles are at the 85 limit. If not, there might still be one spot of wiggle room to work with.
