Kickoff is closing in for Florida State's first conference game of the 2023 season as the Seminoles undergo final preparations to take on Boston College in Chestnut Hill.

FSU is coming off two blowout victories against LSU and Southern Miss. That has the Seminoles winners of eight straight games dating back to last season and taking a No. 3 ranking in the AP Top-25 Poll into the matchup with the Eagles.

Ahead of the contest, the Seminoles are waiting for clarification on multiple starters that encompass both sides of the ball. ESPN reported on Saturday morning that the team would be without left tackle Robert Scott, center Maurice Smith, and safety Akeem Dent against the Eagles.

Head coach Mike Norvell didn't give any specific injury updates throughout the week but wide receiver Kentron Poitier and wide receiver Ja'Khi Douglas were among the players who didn't suit up last week. It was previously announced that Douglas would miss a couple of weeks to begin the season.

Defensive tackle Fabien Lovett has continued to work his way back into the lineup while fellow defensive lineman Darrell Jackson is unable to play after having his waiver appeal denied by the NCAA.

NoleGameday will be keeping an eye on the players mentioned above and more to determine who is available to play on Saturday. Follow along below for updates before the Seminoles kick off against the Eagles.
