Florida State Emerges as ACC Front-Runner to Win the Conference
The pre-season buzz surrounding Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles has been brewing throughout the year after coming off the program's first 10-win season in a little over a decade. The 'Noles are led by potential Heisman candidate quarterback Jordan Travis and a talented returning offensive squad surrounding him that boasts five top-10 players in the country returning at their respective positions for 2023, with Travis being number one, according to Pro Football Focus.
With a defense led by potential first-round draft pick defensive end Jared Verse and another star-studded cast, it is no surprise that FSU comes up in nearly every conversation about who will be at the top of the ACC when it is all said and done next January.

Recently, the online sports betting website BetOnline.ag released their odds to win the ACC, and Florida State has emerged as a front-runner with the best odds at 8/5 (+160).
Coming in at the No. 2 spot, the Clemson Tigers have won seven of the last eight conference titles; Bet Online has them at 19/10 (+190). The Tigers are coming off an 11-3 (8-0 ACC) season after beating the North Carolina Tar Heels in the ACC Title game last year.
The odds quickly fall after the Tar Heels at +600, who took the No. 3 spot and have a potential Heisman candidate in quarterback Drake Maye. Georgia Tech landed at the bottom, tied with three other teams at +10000 (Virginia, Boston College, Virginia Tech). FSU rival Miami, who the 'Noles beat last season in a 45-3 blowout, found themselves somewhere in the middle. The Hurricanes come in seventh to win the ACC at +1800, one spot behind NC State (+1200).
