The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Coleman with the 17th pick in the latest mock NFL Draft. He was chosen ahead of other wide receivers, including Rome Odunze from the University of Washington (No. 9 to the Chicago Bears), Malik Nabers from LSU (No. 6 to the New York Giants), and Marvin Harrison Jr. from Ohio State (No. 4 to the Arizona Cardinals).
Verse was selected by the Miami Dolphins with the 24th pick in the latest mock NFL Draft. He was chosen after other defensive ends, including Chop Robinson from Penn State (No. 20 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Laiatu Latu from UCLA (No. 16 to the Seattle Seahawks), and Dallas Turner from Alabama (No. 11 to the Minnesota Vikings).
The first three picks of the mock draft were all quarterbacks, including Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye, while the first seven picks in total consisted of offensive players. However, despite the first round of the mock draft being front-loaded with offensive stars, 14 of the 32 first-round picks were defensive players.
Things can change with trades and surprise moves; smoke screens and injuries could dramatically alter the selection process between now and April 25. Florida State is predicted to have multiple players selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, which ends on April 27.
