FSU Offensive Tackle Robert Scott Designs Custom Shoes For Head Coach Mike Norvell
There's more to football players than just what happens between the lines. Despite the fact that it's easier to imagine the athletes that are on TV each Saturday are robots or larger than life, they're real human beings with real feelings and dreams.

Those dreams can revolve around more than just the football field. The culture in Tallahassee under head coach Mike Norvell has given players the confidence to openly pursue their inspirations.
That confidence and passion aren't only benefitting the players, it's also helping out Norvell with his fashion.
On Friday, the head coach posted a message of appreciation on social media after redshirt junior offensive tackle Robert Scott designed him a custom pair of shoes. The right shoe has 'The CLIMB' on one side and 'Work' on the other. The left shoe has an embroidered FSU logo on one side, 'Noles' on the other side, and 'Coach Norvell' above the Nike swoosh.
"More than just a jersey # & position, my man [Robert Scott] is so very talented. Look at the #WORK."
Scott also recently made a pair of shoes for offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins. Seminole fans can check out his unique designs on Instagram under Get Money Kustoms.
The Arkansas native has been an important piece of Florida State's offensive line over the last three years. That's expected to continue in 2023 as he works his way back from a lower-body injury that held him out for the spring. Scott was spotted with a boot on his foot during the Garnet & Gold Spring Showcase.
Scott has appeared in 30 games during his career with the Seminoles, including 29 straight starts. He started 11 games this past season, earning second-team All-ACC honors as Florida State rushed for 200+ yards in seven straight games. Scott signed with the Seminoles as a member of Mike Norvell's inaugural class in 2020.
