Report: Former FSU Legend Deion Sanders Undergoing Emergency Surgery
Colorado head coach and former Florida State star Deion Sanders has been in the headlines many times this offseason for lighting the NCAA Transfer Portal on fire that began with a mass exodus of players and an influx of talent that he believes will help turn the 1-11 program around.

The former Jackson State head coach is no stranger to the spotlight after amazing playing careers in the collegiate, MLB and NFL ranks. The Hall of Famer is now making headlines for different reasons, however, as it's been reported by ESPN analyst Pat McAffee that Sanders will undergo emergency surgery on Friday, June 23, for a blood clot in his groin.
Sanders has been struggling with his foot for years and recently had two toes amputated in 2022 after complications arose from previous surgery on his foot in relation to life-threatening blood clots. It remains to be seen whether or not his whole foot will have to be amputated as he was informed by his medical staff while discussing issues for pain.

Most likely to miss time in recovery, it appears to be a challenging start in Boulder, Colorado, for the former FSU star as he battles with his health.
