The instructor-led program is an advanced four-day program through the Harvard Business School. The course was led by Anita Elberse. After completing the four-day course, the attendees are awarded a certificate of completion.
Some other athletes that attended were Kamaru Usman (UFC), Francis Ngannou (PFL), Alec Ogletree (NFL), Chris Archer (MLB), and Cesar Azpilicueta (Premier League), and Pakistani cricket star Babar Azam.
Winston was one of the youngest attendees of all the athletes, only holding an edge over the 28-year-old Babar Azam.
The course covers how to become successful and drive revenue in today’s digital technology-filled economy. With the course, the athletes were able to learn how to navigate today’s modern problems to continue building a successful business with a proper strategy catered to the modern market.
With each of the attendees this past week being professional athletes and all 28 years old or older, these pioneers seem eager to continue building their legacy outside of their respective sports.
Winston has proven in years past to be driven by education. When he decided to depart from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and instead join the New Orleans Saints on a pay cut, it was an educational-driven move. Winston’s intention was to learn under Drew Brees, so he could extend his career and take his game to the next level.
