On Thursday evening, Daniels officially announced that he was committing to Florida State over Georgia and Kentucky. This is a big win for the Seminoles over a pair of SEC programs that included the back-to-back national champions.
Daniels has been one of the coaching staff's top targets throughout his recruitment and they've never wavered in making him a priority. Head coach Mike Norvell and offensive line coach Alex Atkins have been at the forefront of this one with four-star quarterback commit Luke Kromehoek also pulling some weight.
"I just enjoy being with Coach Atkins and Coach Norvell, the bond that we have and that we are building," Daniels said to NoleGameday previously. "It is just how they keep me as their number one priority. Almost like every day I get a text from them, and talk, so it is just priority-wise. They talk to me the most out of everybody."
The Florida native is an athletic prospect who has the potential to play multiple positions up front at the college level. Now, he'll get a chance to develop under the tutelage of coach Atkins as Daniels comes to Tallahassee with a very promising skillset.
"I like everything about him, just the main thing that he keeps it real. He communicates with me almost every day," Daniels said. "He just says I need to develop more. But other than that I have the athleticism and everything else about it, just have to develop more, learn more."
Daniels is the first commitment for the Seminoles along the offensive line in the 2024 class. It might not be long until another prospect joins him with three-star offensive lineman Tye Hylton set to announce on Friday between FSU, Miami, Florida, and Penn State.
With the addition of Daniels, Florida State is up to 16 verbal commitments in its 2024 class which moves from No. 15 to No. 11 in the nation.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound offensive lineman is regarded as the No. 104 overall prospect, the No. 5 IOL, and the No. 12 recruit in the state of Florida in the 2024 class according to 247Sports.
