Carson Beck Announces He “Is in the Game” in EA College Football Game
“Yeah, it’s really happening” as the new EA College Football Game announced it was making its way back to the GameStop shelves and the online gaming stores. We have found out throughout the day yesterday who will be in the game from programs like Georgia to programs like Navy. We’ve found out the Senior Bowl is in the game, and all sorts of real life aspects to today’s college football is.
It continues to grow the excitement over the nostalgic video games for the youth of young adults across the nation. We also learn Carson Beck will be in the game, opening a new avenue of NIL opportunities. he will be receiving a variety of terms within this deal, including $600, free copy of the game, and would remain in the game their entire careers.
The thing is, this would thus bring a collective bargaining agreement which would likely lead to a union of some sorts. This would create a whole other issue in the infant ages of the NIL life within college football.
They could run this players Union the way the NBA Players Association does with a President, VP, so on so forth, but who would this be the leader of this when they alresdy have something more important on their minds. Turning college football into a business was never the goal, but the players do deserve to get paid.
You can likely expect more star names entering their opt-ins for the game and NIL opportunity, but another stick is that the military academies such as Navy and Army won’t have the opportunity to receive these NIL deals. Either way, people who have been begging since 2014 to bring the game back are finally getting their wishes.
