LB Justin Williams Announces Commitment Date
Over the course of the summer, Oak Ridge (TX) linebacker Justin Williams has emerged as one of Georgia’s top targets at inside linebacker in the 2024 class. On Wednesday, Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports revealed that the 5-star linebacker will announce his commitment on July 24.
Williams, whose offer list includes a who’s who of power programs, will choose between Georgia, Oregon, Alabama, and Texas. Georgia has seen its standing in Williams recruitment improve rapidly throughout the summer months. The Bulldogs did not officially extend an offer to the Conroe, TX native until March 30 and his first to Athens came on May 30. Williams returned to the Georgia campus the weekend of June 23 for an official visit.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound linebacker is ranked as the No.11 player overall and the No.1 linebacker in the 2024 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.
Georgia hopes Williams will join his Oak Ridge teammate Joseph Jonah-Ajonye who joined the Bulldogs’ 2024 class on July 6.
