Injury Report Update on Ladd McConkey vs Auburn
The Georgia Bulldogs are set to make their first road trip of the 2023 season as they travel to Jordan-Haire Stadium to take on the Auburn Tigers in "The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry". This will be the 120th matchup between these two teams in a series that the Bulldogs currently lead 63-56.
In last year's matchup, the Bulldogs scorched the Tigers by a score of 42-10 in Athens. However, these two teams have gone through numerous changes since their previous meeting. The Tigers have since hired Hugh Freeze as the team's head coach, and the Bulldogs have a handful of fresh new faces who are ready to make an impact.
Georgia is coming into today's game with quite a lengthy list as far as an injury report, and one player who has been on it for the entire season thus far is wide receiver Ladd McConkey. The veteran Bulldog has been dealing with a back injury this season and has been unavailable. He was, however, a participant in practice this week and has been doing everything he can to try and get back on to the field. Fans can expect to see McConkey in a limited role today against the Tigers, but how much he is on the field depends on how he feels, considering he has been day-to-day for the entire season.
