Georgia Opens as Massive Favorite Over Vanderbilt
The Georgia Bulldogs will once again hit the road this Saturday as they travel to Nashville, Tennessee to face SEC East opponent, the Vanderbilt Commodores. This will be the 81st matchup between these two teams in a series that Georgia dominates 60-20.
Georgia is coming off their best game yet after they destroyed the 20th-ranked Kentucky Wildcats by a score of 51-13 in Athens last Saturday. The win once again cemented their place as the No.1 team in the country.
Vanderbilt on the other hand, has not had the same fortune as of late as they have now lost five straight games. Including their most recent loss, a 38-14 drumming on the road to the Florida Gators.
Unfortunately for the Commodores, history suggests that Saturday will be more of the same. In the past five matchups, the Bulldogs have defeated Vanderbilt by an average score of 47-6 and have shut out the Commodores in their previous two meetings.
Given the teams' polar opposite seasons and the recent history between these two schools, it should not come as a surprise that the Bulldogs are currently a whopping -31.5 point favorite on the road this Saturday.
