Get Up! It's Gameday: Georgia vs Auburn

Hey, Georgia fans. Wake up! The Bulldogs face one of their oldest rivals today.

The Georgia Bulldogs are set to make their first road trip of the 2023 season as they travel to Jordan-Haire Stadium to take on the Auburn Tigers in "The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry". This will be the 120th matchup between these two teams in a series that the Bulldogs currently lead 63-56.

In last year's matchup, the Bulldogs scorched the Tigers by a score of 42-10 in Athens. However, these two teams have gone through numerous changes since their previous meeting. The Tigers have since hired Hugh Freeze as the team's head coach and the Bulldogs have a handful of fresh new faces that are ready to make an impact.

Over the past few weeks, the Bulldogs have been decimated by injuries to key players such as wide receiver Ladd McConkey and Javon Bullard. While there has yet to be confirmation as to whether or not the two will play. Kirby Smart and staff are optimistic about their return.
