Two Georgia Bulldogs Earn SEC Player of the Week Awards For Week 10

After picking up their ninth win of the 2023 season, the Georgia Bulldogs have two players named the SEC Player of the Week for week 10.

The Georgia Bulldogs continue to rack up weekly honors after improving their record to 9-0 for the 2023 season. Earlier this season, the defending national champions had center Secdrick Van Pran named the Offensive Lineman of the Week, and then. Ladd McConkey last week. Following their win over Missouri, two more Georgia Bulldogs earned SEC Player of the Week awards for week 10. 

One of these players would be Nazir Steakhouse, who earns his first award for this season following his impressive performance against the Tigers this past Saturday. The senior grabbed his first career interception and took it back 44 yards deep into Missouri territory and a tackle on the way to their 30-21 victory.

Alongside Stackhouse, earning an honor this week, is the Bulldogs' freshman placekicker, Peyton Woodring. Woodring earns his fourth weekly honor for this season, and he's been impressive thus far. This week, Woodring made all three of his PATs and all three of his field goals, including a career-long 48-yard field goal, to tally 12 of Georgia's 30 points Saturday afternoon. 

This week, Stackhouse and Woodring focus on an imposing No. 10 Ole Miss team that has had their fair share of the weekly conference awards this year and is well-represented in this week's honors. It will be a tough test for the Bulldogs as the Rebels come to Sanford Stadium on Saturday night under the lights at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

• Nazir Stackhouse, DL, Georgia

• Ty Bryant, DB, Kentucky
• Jaylon Braxton, DB, Arkansas
