Will the Aaron Rodgers Trade Affect Broderick Jones?

After major movement within the NFL trade block on Monday, Broderick Jones' draft stock might go through a slight change.

On Monday afternoon, the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers completed a blockbuster trade that would send future hall-of-fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the Jets. The trade would also switch the Jets' 13th pick with the Packer's 15th along with other picks.

This news is consequential to Georgia's Broderick Jones, as numerous mock drafts had the New York Jets selecting the offensive tackle as the 13th overall pick. With the Jets no longer holding that position, Jones' placement on draft day is now seemingly in question.

Fortunately, Jones possesses raw athleticism and prototypical size that have allowed him to remain a top-15 prospect in this year's draft despite the trade. In fact, numerous different mock drafts have the Lithonia, Ga native being selected anywhere from 8th overall with the Falcons, to 15th overall with the Jets.

Regardless of which team ends up selecting the 6-foot-5 tackle this year. Whoever chooses to do so will be getting an extremely gifted offensive lineman who will likely be ready to start for an organization the moment he enters the building.
