Early Signing Day Preview - A Look At What Georgia Gets From the 2024 Class

Assuming there are no major announcements from now to December 20th, here is a look at who the Dawgs are landing on early signing day.
In this story:

Today's era of college football has provided loads of change. From new conference alignments, a new playoff format, and more players than ever hitting the transfer portal, another common trend in college football is early enrollees. Every year, more players sign their letter of intent during the early signing period rather than later in February. That said, we give you a preview of what Georgia gets from the 2024 recruiting class.

The Bulldogs 2024 recruiting class is ranked as the top class according to 247Sports. With 29 total commits, the Dawgs have landed the No. 1 quarterback, the No. 1 cornerback, the No. 1 linebacker, and 11 other players ranked in the top ten within their respective home states. Kirby Smart, Syracuse's new head coach, Fran Brown, and the rest of Georgia's coaching staff have done an excellent job landing big talent.

The Dawgs are expected to land each of their commits this early signing day. The three five-stars joining Dawg Nation will be led by the nation's No. 1 QB and Georgia's top player, Dylan Raiola. Raiola joined Buford H.S. this summer and immediately noticed a difference in his competition level. It didn't matter to him, though, as he completed just above 65% of his passes, there for 35-plus touchdowns and one single interception that didn't come until their elite eight loss to Grayson in the GHSA state playoffs.

Joining him in Athens will be the nation's top cornerback and Florida's No. 2 player,  five-star Ellis Robinson IV. Robinson will be coming in from IMG Academy, where he helped lead them to a perfect 10-0 record this year and picked up a few interceptions with two five-plus tackle games along the way. Linebacker Justin Williams will be the third and final five-star product coming to the Dawgs.

Williams and his four-star Joseph Jonah-Ajonye teammate helped lead a solid defensive front for Oak Ridge out in Texas. Another four-star will be joining them from the Lone Star state, and that will be the big 6'7" 335-pound offensive tackle, Michael Uini from Copperas Grove H.S. 15 more four-stars will be joining this group spanning from across the nation.

The Dawgs have also landed eight three-star players and a walk-on from a highly-rated long snapper, Luke Raab. The Bulldogs will have a recruiting class comparable to Texas A&M's 2022 class, and Smart will add his third top-ranked recruiting class as a head coach.
