2024 Power Forward Josiah Moseley will take an official visit to Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech is still searching for its first 2024 commitment

September is shaping up to be an important month for recruiting for Damon Stoudamire and Georgia Tech Basketball.

Today, Joe Tipton of On3 Sports reported that 2024 power forward Josiah Moseley is going to be taking an official visit to Georgia Tech on September 8th-10th. Moseley also has official visits lined up to USC (Aug. 26th-28th), Illinois (Sept. 15th-17th), Villanova (Sept. 22nd-24th), Texas (Sept. 29th-Oct. 1st), and Virginia Tech in early October.

Moseley (6'6 200 LBS) plays at Stony Point High School in Round Rock, Texas, and also has offers from SMU, Mississippi State, East Carolina, Penn State, TCU, Texas Tech, Virginia Tech, and Oklahoma State, among others.

Moseley is rated as a four-star prospect on On3 Sports and a three-star prospect on ESPN and 247Sports.

Because he is from Texas, that could make the Longhorns the team to beat, but Stoudamire is going to be working hard to land the talented power forward.

Just days later after Moseley's official visit, Georgia Tech is going to be hoping it can land a commitment from one of the top guards in the country.

Jaeden Mustaf (Matthews, NC) is a four-star guard and the No. 27 player in the country according to 247Sports and he announced on social media earlier this month that he will be committing on September 14th. He took official visits to Georgia Tech, NC State, Florida State, and Indiana, while he took an unofficial to Maryland.

Earlier this month, On3 national basketball recruiting analyst Jamie Shaw put in a prediction for Georgia Tech to land four-star guard Jaeden Mustaf. He put the prediction in with a confidence of 60 and it seems like the Yellow Jackets might be the team to beat in this recruitment.

Now it should be noted that this is just one prediction and it could be wrong. The Yellow Jackets received a prediction to land four-star center John Bol, but he would commit to Ole Miss instead. However, Georgia Tech did land in Mustafs top six schools and seems to have momentum right now.

This week, Georgia Tech added two more prospects to their 2023 roster, point guard Naithan George and forward Ibrahim Souare.

Georgia Tech has yet to gain a commitment in the 2024 class, but that could be changing in the next month or so.
