Week one High School Football schedule for 2024 Georgia Tech commits

Most of Georgia Tech's 2024 class is in action this weekend

High School Football in the state of Georgia kicks into full swing this week. There have been scrimmages over the past week, but this is when teams begin their schedules and Georgia is one of, if not the top, state for high school football and talent. Georgia Tech has a number of commits that hail from the state of Georgia and several of them are in action this week.

It is not just the state of Georgia though. The Yellow Jackets have a number of commits in states such as Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina.

The Yellow Jackets have one of the top classes in the ACC (5th) and are just outside of the top 25 in the country, ranking 26th on 247Sports.

Here is the full schedule this week for each commit in Georgia Tech's 2024 class.

CB Troy Stevenson (No. 270 OVR in 247Sports Composite)- Stevenson and Philip Simons High School (SC) take on Andrews High School this week
DE CJ Jackson (No. 193)- Jackson and Tucker High School (GA) play Miller Grove High this week
OT Jameson Riggs (No. 640)- Riggs plays for Hiram High School (GA) and they have a big game this Friday against Paulding County
WR Isiah Canion (No. 240)- Canion play at Warner Robins and they travel to Lee County for a big game this Friday.
WR Koby Young (No. 502)- Young is one of the top commits for Georgia Tech and has been impressive this summer. He plays for Holy Cross High School (LA) and they take on Liberty High School this week.
DT Marcus Downs (No. 601)- Downs was the most recent commit to the Yellow Jackets 2024 class. He plays for Riverside High School (SC) and they take on Travelers Rest this week.
DE Jordan Boyd (No. 762)- Boyd is another commitment from the state of South Carolina and plays at Aiken High School. Aiken plays Lakeside this week.
CB Trajen Greco (No. 391)- Greco plays at one of the top high schools in the state of Georgia, Mill Creek. Mill Creek plays in the Corky Kell Classic this weekend in a big game against North Gwinnett High School.
ATH Luke Harpring (No. 1158)- Harpring plays for Marist High School (GA) and they take on Gainesville High School this week.
QB Aaron Philo (No. 786)- Philo is one of two quarterbacks committed to the Yellow Jackets and is one of the top performers in the state of Georgia at quarterback. He plays for Prince Avenue Christian and they Hammond this week.
WR Trey Horne (No. 675)- Trey Horne plays for Rabun Gap (GA) and they take on Baylor this week. Horne is headed for a big season and is one of the first commitments for the Yellow Jackets in this class
S Christian Pritchett (No. 1298)- Pritchett plays for St. Augustine High School (LA) and is one of a few prospects committed to the Yellow Jackets in the state of Louisiana. Pritchett and St. Augustine faces Warren Easton.
RB Jaedon Matthews (No. 1061)- Matthews is one of three running back commitments for Georgia Tech and plays for Saguaro High School (AZ) and they take on American Leadership Academy.
TE David Prince (No. 1412)- David Prince plays tight end for Glynn Academy (GA) and they play Statesboro High School this week.
OL Santana Alo-Tupuola (No. 1309)- Tupuola plays for IMG Academy (FL) and IMG plays against Lipscomb academy this week.
TE Lane Wadle (No. 1630)- Wadle plays for Greenfield-Central High School (IN) and they play Madison this week.
DE Trashun Griffin (No. 1465)- Griffin plays for Bibb County (AL) and they take on Isabella this week.
