Georgia Tech Basketball Weekly Recruiting Update: 5/ 29

Georgia Tech is making more offers to top 2024 targets

Georgia Tech basketball and the entire staff are in evaluating prospects for the 2024 class and they got some intriguing news this week. One of the top guards in the country has Georgia Tech among his final seven schools and he would give the Yellow Jackets a big boost in young talent.

Let's recap the week that was in Georgia Tech basketball recruiting.

1. Georgia Tech makes the top seven for 2024 four-star guard Curtis Givens III

LSU, Memphis, Texas, UConn, Indiana, and Villanova are the other schools that made Givens's top 7.

That is a great group of schools to be competing against for a top prospect. UConn is fresh off of a national championship and among the favorites to win it again next season. Memphis, Indiana, Texas, and Villanova are powerhouse schools in recruiting.

Givens is ranked No. 74 overall in the 247Sports Composite and the No. 10 point guard in the country. One of the ways that Georgia Tech can get back to winning games and making the postseason is by winning recruiting battles such as these and while there is still plenty of time for Givens to make his decision, making the top seven is a nice first step for Stoudamire and his staff.

2. 2024 Four-star guard Jaeden Mustaf receives an offer from Georgia Tech

Mustaf is ranked as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite and a top 40 player nationally. He has offers from schools such as Miami, Florida State, Indiana, Georgetown, Georgia, Maryland, Pitt, Virginia, and West Virginia, among others.
