Is four-star Georgia Tech Basketball target Ahmad Nowell trending towards another school ahead of commitment date?
One of the top Georgia Tech basketball targets is set to come off the board on July 23rd.
2024 four-star combo guard Ahmad Nowell, who plays at Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia, PA, took a visit to Atlanta on June 14th, but the reigning national champions might be the team to beat according to the latest 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions.
247Sports Analyst Colby Giacubeno put in a Crystal Ball Prediction for UConn to be the school that lands Nowell. This does not mean that it is a guarantee that Nowell is going to pick UConn, but things appear to be trending in that direction.
Nowell is the 36th-ranked player in the 247Sports Composite, the No. 3 combo guard in the country, and the No. 2 player in the state of Pennsylvania. He holds other offers from Tennessee, Auburn, Kentucky, Kansas, Memphis, and Saint Johns.
Where will Georgia Tech target Ahmad Nowell going to land?
Georgia Tech added their second 2023 prospect this week in Ibrahima Sacko. Sacko is a 6''6 wing player that has a 7'1 wingspan. He is an intriguing athlete that brings a high upside to the Yellow Jackets, maybe as soon as this season. Stoudamire has helped develop NBA players while with the Boston Celtics and that could be a big thing in Georgia Tech's favor. He is also a solid rebounder. He joins four-star forward Baye Ndongo as the two prospects in the 2023 class. Stoudamire also brought in the 17th-ranked transfer class this offseason.
Georgia Tech does not have a commitment so far in either their 2024 class or 2025 class.
