Georgia Tech is going to face an intriguing Big 12 team on the court this season and the next according to a report from CBS Sports Jon Rothstein.

Earlier today, Rothstein reported that the Yellow Jackets have scheduled a home-and-home series with the Cincinnati Bearcats, with the first game being this season in Cincinnati and the second game being in Atlanta in 2024-2025.

Rothstein also reported that the official dates and times for this game have not been set yet.

This will be an interesting test for Damon Stoudamire in his first season at Georgia Tech. Cincinnati is entering its third season under head coach Wes Miller and the Bearcats are coming off of a season in which they made the NIT quarterfinals. Cincinnati has yet to make the NCAA Tournament under Miller.

Stoudamire has had to remake the whole roster this offseason and has brought in the 17th-ranked transfer class according to 247Sports and the class includes potential impact players like Florida transfer and former five-star recruit Kowacie Reeves and Ole Miss point guard Amaree Abram. Stoudamire has also brought in two 2023 recruits, four-star forward Baye Ndongo and Ibrahima Sacko.

This is sure to be an interesting non-conference test for both programs. Be sure to keep an eye out for a date and time announcement.
