Pair of Westlake High School (GA) wide receivers earn offers from Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech has been busy picking up commitments in the 2024 recruiting class, but that has not stopped them from offering future prospects in the class of 2025 and 2026.
One of the intriguing offers that the Yellow Jackets made yesterday was to 2026 wide receiver Deion Thomas, who plays at Westlake High School in Atlanta. Thomas has been picking up offers from multiple power five programs lately and Georgia Tech is one of them.
Other offers that Thomas has received include Georgia, Texas A&M, Colorado, Duke, Tulane, UAB, UCF, and FAU. At 6'3 195 LBS, Thomas is going to be a prospect to watch in the coming years.
The other offer from the Yellow Jackets went to 2025 wide receivers Travis Smith Jr, who plays at Westlake High School as well. Smith Jr has other offers from Georgia, Texas A&M, Boston College, Duke, Colorado, Maryland, and Utah, among others.
The focus for Georgia Tech is on finishing the 2024 class, but developing relationships and getting a head start is going to be vital in developing future classes for Brent Key and his coaching staff.
