Updated ACC Recruiting Rankings: 6/9
After one big weekend of official visits in the ACC, its time for the next wave of visits that could see teams surge in the recruiting rankings.
June is a massive month for recruiting and official visits will take place. Georgia Tech saw two commits (ATH Trey Horne and DT Landen Marshall) happen this week following both player's visits and Clemson was another school that got significant commitments, including two five-star players.
Overall, Georgia Tech rose to 35th in 247Sports recruiting rankings and that is good for 8th in the ACC. Horne became the highest-rated member of the Yellow Jackets recruiting class and he has big potential at wide receiver. Brent Key and his staff are hosting multiple four-star prospects and some of their top targets this weekend so GT could be gaining some momentum on the recruiting trail.
Clemson is the biggest winner in the ACC this week. The Tigers were 5th in the ACC last Friday and now they are No. 1, overtaking Florida State. Getting five-star talents like linebacker Sammy Brown and wide receiver Bryant Wesco.
Florida State takes a small bump down to No. 2 as of today, but the Seminoles are still hoping to land some of their top targets.
North Carolina, Pitt, and Wake are 3-5 this week. Wake was No. 2 last week but sees a slight stumble. UNC holds at No. 3 and Pitt at No. 4.
Louisville stays at No. 6 and Miami stays at No. 7. The Hurricanes are going to have one of their biggest official visit weekends ever starting today and they will have multiple five-star prospects on campus. Miami could be a big riser in the ACC recruiting rankings soon.
Georgia Tech leapfrogs Virginia Tech for the No.8 spot, but the Yellow Jackets hope to go even higher soon.
Virginia Tech, Virginia, and Duke are No. 9-11 while NC State, Syracuse, and Boston College round out the bottom three.
