2023 ACC Media Days: When does each ACC coach speak?
The 2023 ACC media days are almost here.
The unofficial kickoff to the season will begin this Tuesday in Charlotte, NC and every head coach in the conference is going to be there to speak, alongside three student-athletes. Media days are a signal that the season is nearly here.
Things are going to be done differently this year in Charlotte. With the ACC moving to no divisions, the schedule is going to be adjusted. It will be a week-long event that will see different coaches speak each day and take questions from the media about their team and the upcoming season.
So when does each coach take the podium?
Tuesday, July 25th
The day will run from 10:00 a.m.,- 4:00 p.m.
The 25th is going to be the day that Georgia Tech fans are going to want to be tuning in for. Head coach Brent Key is going to be speaking on the first day and it will be his first appearance at the ACC Media Days. Key, a former player for the program, is taking over for Geoff Collins and hopes to lead this program back to winning.
Key is not the only coach speaking on Monday.
A lot of eyes are going to be on Miami head coach Mario Cristobal as he takes the stage for his second ACC media day. Coming off of a disastrous 5-7 debut season at his alma mater, it will be interesting to hear what the Hurricanes head coach has to say.
Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm is also speaking Monday and I will be interested to see if he is asked about the opening game against the Yellow Jackets.
Syracuse head coach Dino Babers will the other coach speaking Monday. Coming off of a solid season, the Orange will be hoping to get back to the postseason in 2023.
Wednesday, July 26th
The day will run from 10:00 a.m.,- 4:00 p.m.
The next day will see five more coaches stepping up to talk about their program. Duke's Mike Elko, Florida State's Mike Norvell, Pitt's Pat Narduzzi, Virginia's Tony Elliott, and Virginia Tech's Brent Pry.
Florida State is one of the favorites this year to win the conference and Norvell is going to be hearing plenty about his program's expectations this week.
Thursday, July 27th
The concluding day will run from 10:00 a.m.,- 4:00 p.m.
Boston College head coach Jeff Hafley, Clemson's Dabo Swinney, North Carolina's Mack Brown, NC State's Dave Doeren, and Wake Forest's Dave Clawson will wrap up the 2023 ACC media days.
