ACC Football: Updated Standings Heading Into Week Nine

Florida State is the last remaining unbeaten team in the ACC

Florida State is now all by themselves at the top of the ACC after defeating Duke. The Seminoles are now the heavy favorite to get to and win the ACC Championship, but there is a cluster of teams that are fighting for position to face the Seminoles in Charlotte in December. 

North Carolina, Duke, Louisville, and Virginia Tech all are at 2-1 or better after this past weekend. The Tar Heels lost a shocker to Virginia, while Duke suffered its first ACC loss against Florida State. Virginia Tech and Louisville were off this past week. The Cardinals and the Blue Devils play each other this weekend. 

Behind them are Boston College, Clemson, and Georgia Tech, each with two conference wins. NC State, Virginia, and Miami are each at 1-2 with Wake Forest and Pitt at 1-3. Syracuse is the only winless team in the conference.
