Brent Key gives injury report update ahead of week two

Georgia Tech plays South Carolina State on Saturday

Georgia Tech head coach Brent Key spoke with the media today for the first time since the opening game loss to Louisville and as the Yellow Jackets prepare for a week two home game against South Carolina State. 

Georgia Tech had some players go down on Friday night against the Cardinals and when asked about the injuries, Key said they would not have any updates until they got the injury report the following day. 

Today when asked about any injured players, Key gave an update on defensive end Sylvain Yondjouen and the rest of the injured players for Georgia Tech: 

"Yeah, he (Sylvain Yondjouen) will have another check-up tomorrow. So we should probably know more after that, he suited up today but we will see tomorrow. That is usually the way we work, to be able to play on Saturday, we want those guys to be able to practice on Wednesday so we will see with that moving forward. The other guys, everyone else was fine and back out there practicing today."

From what Key said, Georgia Tech should be relatively healthy heading into this weekend against South Carolina State and hopefully, it stays that way for the rest of the season. 

Georgia Tech vs. South Carolina State will be at 1:00 p.m. this Saturday at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
