Georgia Tech Volleyball is off to a fantastic start to its season after beating No. 8 Penn State over the weekend and because of that, the Yellow Jackets are now just right outside of the top ten, checking in at No. 11 this week. Georgia Tech made the largest move in the polls this week, jumping up nine spots from No. 20. Georgia Tech is one of three ACC teams in the top 15 (Louisville and Pitt). 

The Yellow Jackets enter the second week of the season amongst the top three in the ACC in four major categories – second in assists per set (13.57), second in digs per set (15), third in blocks per set (2.43), and third in opponent hitting percentage (.121) (Per Georgia Tech PR).

The Volleyball program has enjoyed a tremendous amount of success over the past few seasons, winning 81 of the last 101 matches and being formidable at home, winning 46 of the last 53 matches. 

The next game for the Volleyball squad will be on the road this Friday against Ohio State, who is ranked No. 12 heading into the match.
