Bulldogs have won 25 straight meetings over the Broncos

The Gonzaga men's basketball team hits the road for the first time in West Coast Conference play as it takes on Santa Clara in the first of a three-game road stretch.

The Bulldogs (11-4, 2-0 WCC) started league play with back-to-back blowouts over Pepperdine and San Diego last week, as they covered both 20+ point spreads in each matchup. Graham Ike led the way in the 86-60 win over the Waves with 19 points, while Nolan Hickman went 4-for-5 on 3-point attempts to finish with 14 points. Ben Gregg stepped up in a big way off the bench against the Toreros, as the junior recorded a career-high 22 points and four steals to help his team pick up the 101-74 triumph.

Ike leads Gonzaga in scoring on the season with 15.2 points to go with 8.0 rebounds per game. Prior to Saturday, he scored 20 or more points in three straight games.

The Broncos (11-6, 2-0 WCC) covered the spread convincingly in their wins over Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine to start conference action. Arizona transfer Adama Bal led the way in both outings, scoring 21 in a 68-57 win against the Lions and 28 in the matchup versus the Waves. The 6-foot-2 guard leads the team in scoring at 15.9 points per game.
