OMAHA, Neb. — Indiana got off to a good start in the Big Ten baseball tournament and now they want to keep in rolling on Thursday when they take on the Iowa Hawkeyes at Charles Schwab Field.

Both teams won their tourney openers on Tuesday in the top bracket of the eight-team field. The winner will play in the bracket final on Saturday, the loser will play Michigan on Friday, with another shot at advancing to that bracket final.

The game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET and will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

Indiana (41-16) took two of three games from Iowa (40-13) during a series in Bloomington in early April. The Hoosiers lost the series opener 7-1, but then came back to win 2-0 in 10 innings on Saturday and 4-2 on Sunday. Indiana, the No. 2 seed, finished second in the Big Ten regular season standings and No. 3 Iowa finished just a half-game behind.

Iowa was terrific in its tourney opener, pounding Michigan 13-3. Indiana beat Illinois 4-3.

The higher-seeded team has won all five games so far this week in Omaha. Here are all the results so far, with the schedule for the rest of the week.
