WATCH: Jalen Hood-Schifino Goes Coast to Coast, Hoosiers Start Strong
EAST LANSING, Mich. – Jalen Hood-Schifino and the No. 17 Indiana Hoosiers came out strong on Tuesday at the Breslin Center.
About three minutes in, Hood-Schifino scooped up a Michigan State turnover and ignited the fast break. He took it coast to coast and finished a layup over Michigan State's Joey Hauser to give Indiana an early 8-0 lead.

Next up for Indiana is a rivalry game against the No. 5 Purdue Boilermakers. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Ind. Purdue defeated Ohio State 82-55 on Sunday and has almost a full week of rest before facing the Hoosiers. In the season's first matchup on Feb. 4, Indiana beat Purdue 79-74.
